Empowering Owners, Transforming Dogs

Would you like a harmonious relationship with your dog? I can help you. Please read on about my work.

Many dogs take on the role of the pack leader because that is what their owner subconsciously tells them to do. As most dogs in the wild would never or very rarely be the pack leader, this stressful position can make a dog very frustrated. With frustration come the problems of unwanted behaviour such as excessive barking, digging, pulling on the lead, nervousness, aggression towards other dogs and sometimes even against their owner and other people. All of this unwanted behaviour runs against a dog's natural instinct.

My dream is it to empower owners to become the pack leaders by giving them simple tools. Once an owner understands the reason behind their dog's unwanted behaviour, the rehabilitation is easy and the dog retires happily from the pack leader position. It doesn't matter how old the dog is, they always want to recover a balanced state of mind. And with a balanced state of mind comes respect and trust.

I offer affordable personal one-on-one training in your own home. This includes a full health check, an assessment of your dog and easy to follow instructions for the owner. The result is very often immediate. A revisit is rarely necessary, but I am happy to return if you would like more coaching. I hope, I will see you and your dog soon and help you to build a peaceful and calm relationship with your companion.

About Me

I graduated as a Veterinarian in Munich, Germany, in 2002. Afterwards I immigrated to Australia and successfully passed the National Veterinary Exam. Since then I have been a registered Veterinarian in Victoria. I have worked with both companion and production animals. My main area of interest has always been the behavioural problems in dogs. I trained my first dog when I was 12 at a German dog obedience club.
